Len-Tex Corporation is pleased to announce its compliance with the requirements of the EN 15102, the stringent European standard for Decorative Wallcoverings –Roll and Panel Form. Along with its declaration of conformity for all Len-Tex and Surface iQ PVC-Free branded products, Len-Tex is entitled to use the CE marking on all wallcovering export shipments.

The CE marking of wallcoverings is part of the EU construction products directive, and indicates that wallcovering products meet EU safety, health or environmental requirements. It guarantees the free movement of safe products within the European market and is a key indicator of a product’s compliance with EU legislation. The EN 15102 standard includes product criteria such as fire rating, VOC emissions from formaldehyde, heavy metals and vinyl chloride monomer.

The company’s recently introduced Clean Vinyl Technology (CVT) wallcovering is a toxic-free, non-ortho-phthalate vinyl film. This exclusive technology eliminates the elements of most concern to health and indoor air quality typically found in traditional vinyl wallcovering products. Len-Tex Clean Vinyl is also certified by Scientific Certification Systems (SCS) Indoor Advantage™ Gold, and has earned pass ratings for the CA 01350 and CHPS.
